22nd Nov 2014, The Grand Oberoi, Kolkata

About the Event

The developing technology of high-performance facades has emerged as the key to building systems integration, central to the realization of a sustainable built environment. The face of infrastructure in Kolkata is changing gradually but resiliently with some of the most striking buildings being built. Besides, the development of new planned townships of Salt Lake city and Rajarhat has drawn the focus on environmentally friendly buildings and structures that blend in with the landscape is increasing with an all-inclusive emphasis on cutting edge façades that are structurally, aesthetically, thermally, technologically, acoustically efficient and secure.

After a phenomenal success of the previous edition of Zak World of Façades conference in Kolkata where the industry came together to examine the discrepancies in the awarding of façade contracts, the conference returns to the city with a renewed vigour carried forward from the super-successful events in the other parts of the country.

Acclaimed as south Asia’s largest façade conference on façade design and engineering, Zak World of Façades not only provides you with the educational experiences that enable you to push your professional practice into emerging frontiers, but also facilitates the networking opportunities that provide you with connections you need to excel in today’s dynamic professional environment.

Be a part of this ground breaking convergence of experts from across the construction industry to share and discuss the latest methods and technologies that are revolutionizing the building envelopes. Take advantage of exclusive business opportunities, including a dedicated display area exhibiting new perspectives on building skins and material technologies for the efficient façades.

Organised by Zak, this will be a part of the build-up to the mega exhibitions on Glass, Windows & Façade and Aluminium Extrusions to be held in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from the 5-7 December 2014.
