Andrew Colangelo

Director - Project Design Management, Mirvac

Andrew is a qualified interior designer and architect who has practiced nationally and has experience in the design and delivery of commercial, institutional and residential projects of varying complexity and size.

During professional practice, Andrew’s contributions on design and project leadership was recognised with receiving professional awards such as AIA Canberra Medallion in 2002, Sulman Medal in 2003 and Sir Arthur G. Stephenson Award for Commercial Architecture.

Andrew is committed and focused, professional and demonstrates initiative to lead project and design outcomes. Andrew continued this commitment as a project and design manager over several large and complex mixed use projects.

Andrew was responsible for delivering the architectural design for International Towers Sydney, Towers 1, 2 and 3 at Barangaroo. As Design Director, Andrew was also responsible for the design and project management of the commercial precinct at Melbourne Quarter. Melbourne Quarter consists of three commercial buildings, with retail and associated public domain. The unique challenge of this project includes the three buildings constructed over an existing motorway.

Andrew joined Mirvac as Director of Project Design Management in November 2017. Andrew provides leadership of the design management team. The responsibilities includes a range of projects including commercial office, residential, mixed-use and master planning. Andrew’s commitment to design excellence ensures the continuing high quality delivery of Mirvac’s projects.
