Partner, Max Fordham
Hero Bennett is a Partner and the Principal Sustainability Consultant at Max Fordham. She has experience on projects across all sectors and scales. Some of her award-winning projects include LSE Centre Buildings, Central Bank of Iraq, Southbank Centre Refurbishment, and the Agar Grove Estate Redevelopment. Her work involves advising on sustainability frameworks and metrics and providing environmental design advice for which façade development is critical.
Hero is a Chartered Environmentalist and developed the sustainability matrices (a tool used by Max Fordham and originally created with Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios) for publication in the Architect’s Journal in 2010. She has more recently been looking at use of the UN Sustainable Development Goals to guide design on projects and Hero was a judge for the Global Sustainable Development Goal Awards.
