Director, Scott Brownrigg
Ed Hayden works for a global design practice, Scott Brownrigg. Based in the practice’s Guildford studio in the UK, he champions sustainable design and design quality, particularly within the offices, research and laboratory, education and defence sectors. Graduating from Plymouth University with distinction, he gained experience in architectural design for a broad range of media; creating virtual architecture and visionary projects for everything from web-based media to film and television.
He was responsible for the design of the ‘Carbon Minus’ home for the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery in Woolwich as well as recent projects that include Cambridge Science Park Bio-Hub; Arm Headquarters at Peterhouse Technology Park, CABI Headquarters, St George’s College Activity Centre and the refurbishment of Victoria. Ed has also been working on a new HQ and reactor facility for First Light Fusion.
