Gerry Gutierrez as a leader of the multi-disciplinary design firm Sasaki’s Technical Quality Control Group, Gerard A. Gutierrez, AIA, sets the standard for technical excellence. Throughout his career, his strongest contributions have been developing construction documents and ensuring the design integrity translates to a constructible and well-detailed building. He has established his reputation as an even-handed, pragmatic, and engaged representative of the design team. With over 25 years of professional experience with firms that emphasize and value design excellence, his many collaborations have been published in journals such as Abitare, Building Design + Construction, and The Architect’s Newspaper.
He contributions have been recognized with awards from the Industrial Designers Society of America, the Boston Society of Architects, various local chapters of the American Institute of Architects, and National Honor Awards from the AIA. Gerry is an active member of the AIA and the Boston Society of Architects and co-chairs the BSA’s Construction Administration Roundtable.
