Façade Consultant, Knippers Helbig
Julian Länge is a registered architect and façade engineer. He has studied at the Teknik Üniversitesi in Istanbul and the University of Stuttgart, that he graduated from in architecture and urban planning. Through growing an interest in advanced geometries and the development of complex technical systems during his studies, he has joined the façade’s department of Stuttgart based structural and façade engineering firm Knippers Helbig Advanced Engineering in 2017 and manifested his skills and interests in façade design through joining an façade engineering program at the University of Applied Sciences in Augsburg. His work at Knippers Helbig is focused around the design of complex building envelopes, special constructive systems, and complex building structures. Julian has been consulting on the planning and realization of the building envelopes of a number of international projects, including the National Veterans Resource Center in Syracuse, NY, designed by SHoP architects, the New Toronto Courthouse in Toronto, ON, designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop, and the new Dynafit Headquarters in Kiefersfelden, GER, designed by Barozzi Veiga architects.
