Burak Pekoğlu studied architecture in USA and had worked in Denmark, Turkey and USA. Burak is a graduate of Harvard University, Graduate School of Design (GSD) with a MArch degree (2011). He received a BS degree, Cum Laude, in Architecture (2008) at SUNY Buffalo, where he also attended an exchange program at Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark. He attended high school at Robert College.
Pekoglu worked as an architectural designer in international offices such as Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) in New York, Schmidt Hammer Lessen (SHML) in Aarhus, Denmark and Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects (PCPA) in New Haven. He has taught architectural studio as a visiting instructor at Bilgi University, Istanbul Technical University, Kadir Has University and Yıldız Technical University (YTU). He participated to seminars and workshops as a speaker at NYU, YTU, Koç University, Mardin Artuklu University, and Share Architects Ljubljana 2019.
