Deputy Technical Director, Bouygues UK
Since 2017 Marc has been in charge of developing an in-house building envelope expertise within Bouygues UK and Linkcity UK. Working alongside design consultants, specialist contractors, manufacturers and other technical leads within the Bouygues Group he has been implementing new methodologies to design and build facades for residential, education and healthcare buildings in and around London. Marc also holds the responsibility of proposing a sustainable approach to develop design & build schemes – from brief stage to completion – including robust proposals for operational energy, thermal comfort and lifecycle carbon costs.
Marc graduated as a civil engineer at the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees (Paris) and spent more than 15 years in the Bouygues Group. He occupied several operational and technical roles and uses this experience to respond to the industry challenges of Net Zero Carbon, Digitalisation and Modern Methods of Construction.
