Jason is the global lead Research Development + Innovation for Buildings + Places at AECOM and directs the Innovation Laboratory initiative – focused on developing prototype tools and workflows as deployable innovations. He focuses on leveraging the intersection of building technology, finance, and policy to deliver high performance and sustainable design solutions that reduce both embodied and operational carbon. Jason’s work has been funded by the National Science Foundation, Department of Energy, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, and the American Institute of Architect and has won numerous awards for next generation building systems design.
