Director of Product Development and Design, New Hudson Façades
Andrew Black is the Director of Product Development and Design for New Hudson Facades. Andrew’s 20-year career in the façade industry has covered a broad range of projects and areas of expertise. He began his career developing parametric 3D models in coordination with the fabrication processes of supply chain partners. In 2014 he joined New Hudson Facades in a curtainwall design role and developed new materials and components used in façade systems. Later, he managed the manufacturing engineering and machining departments and was trained in lean manufacturing to improve efficiencies on the manufacturing floor. He is currently developing new façade products and focusing on strategic planning, intellectual property development, and façade design development. Andrew holds an Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics degree from the University of Minnesota and is based out of New Hudson Façade’s office in New York.
