Head of Product Delivery, Nabr
Neil Thelen is an architect and Head of Product Delivery at Nabr, where he is working on a scalable housing system that is generous to citizens, communities, and our planet. In 17 years of professional practice Neil has contributed to a broad portfolio of built projects globally, developing design, manufacturing and construction solutions for stakeholders across the AEC value chain including real estate developers, architects, engineers, manufacturers and contractors.
Neil has a Master of Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul, MN. He has served on the faculties of Columbia University, the University of Michigan and the University of Virginia. He has been a guest lecturer and/or design critic at Princeton University, MIT, University of Pennsylvania Columbia, Pratt, University of Michigan, University of Ohio, University of South Florida, University of Virginia, and the University of Minnesota.
Originally from far northern Minnesota, Neil currently lives and works in Manhattan with his wife and two boys.
