Associate Principal, Grimshaw
Max has led Grimshaw’s Architectural design team for the HS2 Phase 1 Birmingham Curzon Street station since 2018. With WSP, he has taken the project forward to successful completion of scheme design stage and award of planning consent by Birmingham City Council in 2020. Detailed design is anticipated to commence later this year with construction starting in 2023. His most recent completed project is the new Underground Station at Battersea Power Station which was opened to the public in September 2021 as one of two new stations for the Northern Line Extension Project. Battersea Power Station blends regeneration, new public realm and a station which advances London Underground’s legacy of identity and design quality.
