Flora Bao

Flora Bao is an Architect with 16 years of experience as a Designer and Project Manager. She received her Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie Mellon University. Her architectural career began at Kohn Pedersen Fox in NY as a Junior Designer, working on projects in China. She then moved to Shanghai for 4 years and transitioned into management roles for Swanke Hayden Connell Architects and HLW. With her China experience, Flora returned to the States and continued working on China projects as a Project Manager at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill in San Francisco. During the height of WeWork’s growth, she joined their West Coast Enterprise team. Flora moved back to the Big Apple in 2020 and joined BIG as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing projects in the US and China, with projects ranging from large-scale master plans, to commercial offices, to private properties.
