Head of Research and Development, Priedemann Façade Experts
Dr. Jens Böke is Head of Research & Development at Priedemann Facade Experts. He studied architecture in Germany at OWL University of Applied Sciences and Arts (TH-OWL) in Detmold and the University of Applied Sciences for Architecture (MSA) in Münster. During his studies, Jens Böke was a trainee at the Dutch architectural office UNStudio.
He started his professional career in academia as a research assistant and coordinator of the ConstructionLab at TH-OWL while also coordinating the postgraduate Master of Computational Design & Construction. Jens Böke held various workshops, lectures and co-authored several publications in the field of computational design and façades. In summer 2020, he successfully completed his PhD “ThinkingSkins – Cyber-physical systems as foundation for intelligent adaptive façades” at TU Delft.
Jens Böke has a passion for computer-aided and parametric design strategies in architecture, which led him to the Digital Twin team during his first year at Priedemann. In his current role in the company’s R&D department, he is applying his knowledge to the development of innovative concepts to optimize façade performance.
