Tomasz Karwatka is a civil engineer and façade designer with over 30 years of experience in façade design and engineering. Since 2005, he has been the founder and owner of Studio Profil, a specialist façade design office based in Poland. Together with his team, he has completed more than 300 detailed façade design projects for office, residential, cultural, public and commercial buildings in Poland and abroad.
His work focuses on the technical development of architectural façade concepts, including aluminium-glass façades, ventilated cladding, skylights, bespoke façade systems, technical specifications and design coordination. Studio Profil supports architects, investors and contractors from concept design through technical and execution design to author’s supervision and verification of contractor documentation.
Tomasz strongly promotes the early involvement of façade designers in the investment process to reduce technical risk, construction cost and long-term operational problems.
