Tomasz Karwatka is the founder (2005) and co-owner of the STUDIO PROFIL facade design office based in Warsaw.
Throughout the period of its activity STUDIO PROFIL made detailed facade designs of over 200 buildings, including: Q22 in Warsaw for Kuryłowicz & Associates, Center for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin for Stelmach & Partners, Skyliner in Warsaw for APA Wojciechowski, KTW in Katowice for Medusa Group, Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw for Thomas Phifer & Partners / APA Wojciechowski, Studio in Warsaw for Arrow / Grupa 5 Architekci.
Tomasz is a graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology (Faculty of Civil Engineering – 1989) and a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (MBA – Master of Business Administration – 2000). Tomasz was a commercial / managing director at Kawneer Polska (Alumax Inc. / Alcoa Inc. – USA) in 1993-2000 and a managing director at Sapa Building System (Hydro AB – Sweden) in 2000-2005.
Tomasz is a member of the Association of Polish Architects (SARP), the Association of Polish Stage Artists (ZASP), and a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology. Tomasz is certified alpine skiing and horse riding instructor and holds the rank of offshore skipper.
