Director, PTW
Born in Buenos Aires, after graduation in 1990, Julian moved to Barcelona to follow the PhD Program “The sense of modern architecture”.
After gaining professional experience in different companies, in 1995 he opened an architecture practice that started with some private houses, offices and renovations, and ended as an award-winning practice working on both public and private sectors (master-planning, education, culture, heritage, social housing, multi-residential, etc). Later, with Europe significantly constrained after the global financial crisis, he finally took an entrepreneurial round through Brazil and Peru to contribute to articulate and develop urban regeneration opportunities.
In 2016, he put the internationalization process at the back burner when hired by PTW Architects in Sydney, Australia, where he also completed a Management Diploma. Since 2019 he is Director at PTW Vietnam, leading different types of projects and design services.
He was awarded with the “2012 Catalan Prize for Innovation in Construction”, distinguished by the City Council of Barcelona in 2007 as one of the leading architects for the transformation of the city of Barcelona and winner of numerous competitions in architecture.
He is particularly experienced and interested in design based integrated solutions that could contribute to a sustainable real estate market.
