Senior Engineer, Eckersley O’Callaghan
Ben Buckley is a Senior Facade Engineer in the facade engineering group at Eckersley O’Callaghan in London, UK. He is experienced in leading the design of various facade system types for residential, commercial and educational projects based in the UK and further afield in France and Hong Kong.
Since 2018, Ben has particularly enjoyed gaining experience in the design of timber facades. He was involved in the design of the timber curtain walling for the Black and White Building, a 5-6 storey mass timber commercial building in Shoreditch, London, as well as overseeing its installation through the construction stage, which completed in December 2022.
Ben looks to continue building on his specialised knowledge of timber facade design, and how it fits into the wider sustainable engineering realm.
