Rumen Yordanov is an award-winning building systems and sustainability engineer with experience in high-profile projects across Asia-Pacific and Europe including commercial, residential, educational, industrial and critical systems.
Rumen is the founder and managing director of Asian European Engineering as well as the CEO of EnergyGlare. His experience includes MEP design, indoor air quality, energy efficiency and building physics modelling as well as decarbonization, and green fintech development.
Some of the notable local projects with Rumen’s participation include Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, West Kowloon Cultural District, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, The University of Hong Kong, and retail store portfolios of Moncler and YSL among others. Rumen has been named top 5 new faces of engineering for 2014 by ASHRAE, and he is a USGBC Faculty and a past LEED International Roundtable Representative on behalf of Hong Kong.”
