Associate Principal, Diller Scofidio + Renfro
Miles Nelligan is an Associate Principal at Diller Scofidio + Renfro, which he joined in 2007. He has been practicing architecture for over 20 years. His recently completed projects include the Prior Performing Arts Center at the College of the Holy Cross and two facilities that comprise Columbia Business School. In addition to directing projects, he has also led several high-profile competition teams as well as played a key role in the concept design, programming, planning, and technical detailing of many of DS+R’s most renowned projects, including the High Line and Pier 57 in New York City as well as RENAZCA in Madrid. Nelligan earned his Bachelor of Architecture and Bachelor of Building Science with First Class Honors from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand. He also holds a Master of Architecture from Princeton University, where he received the Howard Crosby Butler Traveling Fellowship. He has taught at Princeton University and led design studios at Victoria University of Wellington.
