Alexander Freund joined Bollinger+Grohmann in May 2011 and is Head of Façade engineering since 2018. He is experienced in structural design in a variety of buildings, such as sports facilities, high-rise buildings, residential and office buildings. His experience includes reinforced concrete structures, steel and cable structures, as well as structural glazing.
Alexander Freund completed his civil engineering studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Frankfurt, Germany.
He qualified as a certified façade engineer in 2013 at the University of Applied Sciences Augsburg, Germany.
Before his employment with Bollinger+Grohmann, Alexander Freund was employed at Werner Sobek in Moscow, Russia, and Frankfurt, Germany. Thereby, he gained experience in working on international projects, especially in the Russian Federation, where he lived and worked for two and a half years.
