Sustainability Senior Manager, NY Metro, AECOM
Nadine Berger recently joined AECOM’s Innovation Laboratory as a Sustainability Senior Manager, where she focuses on global research development and innovation initiatives to deliver High Performance & Net Zero Carbon projects as well as developing training modules at AECOM’s Buildings + Places Academy.
Prior to joining AECOM, in her position as Associate Principal and Project Director at SHoP Architects, Nadine was leading projects for well over a decade, including the award-winning Barclays Center in Brooklyn and the US Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand.
With a focus on environmental and social responsibility, Nadine is determined as an Architect to be part of the solution towards a more inclusive, sustainable, healthy, and just built environment.
Nadine holds a M.Arch from Bauhaus-University, Germany and has served as a guest critic at various institutions such as Columbia University GSAPP, Yale University, and University of Pennsylvania. Notable speaking engagements include Notre Dame University, Greenbuild International Conference, and Global Design Alliance.
