Project Manager, Olympia London
Yvette is Project Manager for Olympia, one of London’s most ambitious regeneration projects. Working closely with the architects, engineers, and key stakeholders, Yvette oversees the £1.3bn site transformation through all phases of design and construction, from contractor appointments and planning approvals to construction and handover.
Built as an events and exhibitions venue almost 140 years ago, today Olympia is being transformed into a new destination for culture, creativity and innovation. The 14-acre site features five listed buildings, including the event halls of Olympia Events, as well as seven new buildings. Olympia Events has carried on hosting shows throughout the construction, which started in 2020.
With over 20 years’ experience as a chartered civil engineer, Yvette has worked on a number of high-profile projects throughout her career. This included a technically challenging pedestrian link bridge underneath Chelsea Bridge linking a new development with Battersea Park, as well as the successful delivery of the intricate facades of Victoria’s NOVA development.
