Intermediate Architect, DXA Studio
Tigran Kostandyan is an Armenian architect registered in New York. His design research examines supply chains through the intersections of architecture and the environment, utilizing cinematography, model-making, algorithms, and storytelling.
He has worked on architectural and exhibition design projects in New York, Sharjah, and Dubai for institutions such as the Sharjah Art Foundation, the Jewish Museum, and the Graham Foundation. Tigran has played a key role in various residential, cultural, and commercial projects.
As a research fellow at the Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture, and Design, he contributed to Strelka Mag. Tigran taught at the New Jersey Institute of Technology and received the 2024 GSAPP Incubator Prize from Columbia University.
He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the American University of Sharjah and a Master’s in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University’s GSAPP.
