Kongkun Charoenvisal, Ph.D., currently serves as an Architecture Research Specialist at Africus Co., Ltd. He earned his Ph.D. in Architecture and Design Research, Master of Information Technology (M.IT.), and Master of Science in Architecture (M.S.Arch.) from Virginia Tech, USA, and a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Dr. Charoenvisal has extensive work experience, including roles as a Senior Green Building Specialist at Africus Co., Ltd.; an Environmental Designer at Atelier Ten (Thailand) Co., Ltd.; an Adjunct Faculty member at the School of Architecture, Virginia Tech; and an Architect at Architects88 Co., Ltd. His research interests focus on sustainable architecture, building performance, and energy efficiency. Dr. Charoenvisal holds several professional accreditations, including LEED AP BD+C, WELL AP, TREES-A EB, and BEC Auditor. He is a recipient of the prestigious ARCC/King Student Medal for Excellence in Architectural + Environmental Design Research awarded by the Architectural Research Centers Consortium (ARCC), USA, recognizing his significant contributions to the field.
