Visionary, complex, and significant commercial and residential projects have defined Marko’s career. He has led many of Architectus’ successful design competitions and contributed to city-shaping master plans and the design development of landmark projects, such as Burelli Street Wollongong, 1 Spring Street Tower 2 in Melbourne and Sydney’s 55 Pitt Street, 153 Walker Street and Central Station Precinct Renewal. His analytical and innovative approach to design and problem-solving ensures a comprehensive and impactful design outcome for clients.
Marko recognises both the shared and individual sense of experience in the built environment – the connection between people and spaces that create community. His body of work has garnered accolades and numerous industry awards, including several Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) National Awards for residential and commercial buildings and the prestigious AIA Sulman Award for Public Buildings.
