John Kilpatrick

John Kilpatrick is the Wind Engineering Practice Leader at RWDI and a Principal of the firm. During his 29 years at RWDI, John has earned a reputation as an insightful wind engineer who delivers substantial value for clients. John is a member of the following committees: ASCE 49 Task Committee on Wind Tunnel Testing for Buildings and Other Structures; Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) Pre-Standard for Performance-Based Design for Wind; ASCE Tall Buildings Committee – Design and Performance of Tall Buildings for Wind; and the ASCE 7-28 Wind Loads Sub-Committee. Among other professional distinctions, John has been a recipient of the State-of-the-Art in Civil Engineering Award, presented by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
