Erika Duran

Asst VP - Sustainability Innovator in the Built Environment, WSP

Erika Duran is an Assistant Vice President at WSP USA, where she leads Green Building Programs services. Erika specializes in using sustainability dialogue to integrate project teams and inspire innovative, cost-effective solutions. She collaborates with national and global clients to implement enterprise-level sustainability strategies. Erika holds a Master of Arts in Architecture and a Bachelor’s degree in Horticultural Science from the University of Florida, reflecting her interdisciplinary expertise. Her passion for science and building systems drives her work. Before joining WSP, Erika managed hydroponic greenhouse systems and sustainable agricultural practices at Walt Disney World. She continues to embed sustainability into design, construction, and operation standards for her clients. In addition to her consulting role, Erika is an adjunct professor at Columbia University, teaching Green Building & Sustainability: Tools & Techniques. Outside of work, Erika enjoys exploring nature trails and experimenting with sustainable gardening techniques at home.
