Principal, Sustainable Design Director, Lord Aeck Sargent
For more than 25 years Joshua Gassman has led large, multi-faceted design teams focused on complex projects with challenging design criteria. During his career he has led a broad spectrum of projects, ranging from large research labs for major universities to interpretive and education centers. He has worked extensively on projects involving challenging sustainable criteria, including net positive water and net positive energy projects. Joshua truly excels in helping teams create healthy, biophilic, and holistic design solutions that improve building performance and enhance occupant wellness. His work ensures that these solutions created are expressive of the values of his clients, connect people to nature, and manifest in ways that the built environment acts as a teacher. He holds degrees from Washington University in St. Louis and Arizona State University.
