Diego Cuevas Gomez is Vice President of Business Development and Sales for North America at Onyx Solar. Diego earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance and a Master’s degree in Foreign Trade, graduating as valedictorian. He brings more than 15 years of experience in building-integrated photovoltaics and façade systems. Based in New York City, he leads market strategy, client partnerships, and the technical integration of PV glass into curtain wall and skylight assemblies, guiding projects from early concept through procurement, fabrication, and installation. He has been responsible for the integration of photovoltaic glass in more than 120 projects across North America, from office buildings to educational institutions to airports and museums. He works side by side with architects from the earliest design phases, easing the inclusion of this innovative product into any building envelope. His approach blends commercial insight with rigorous technical standards across UL and IEC certifications, NFPA 285 compliance, and complex supply chains, ensuring constructability, performance, and architectural quality.
