Carmelo Galante is the Director of Design and Engineering at Gualini, where he leads the development of innovative façade solutions across a range of high-profile projects. He brings extensive international expertise in façade engineering, gained through over ten years of experience in London working on landmark developments.
Throughout his career, Carmelo has specialized in the design of bespoke façade systems and complex construction details for both UK and international projects. His work covers all aspects of building envelope design, including structural and environmental performance, materials and systems selection.
He holds a double MSc in Energy Engineering and is deeply committed to sustainable design. He has extensive expertise in environmental analysis and design and has been applying digital parametric tools to optimize façade systems for energy efficiency and user well-being.
Carmelo is a Chartered Engineer in the UK, a member of CIBSE and the Society of Façade Engineering (SFE) and is also registered with the Italian Order of Engineers.
