Apurba is an Indian Navy Veteran having more than two decades of experience in core MEP Services and Fire life safety domain.
He leads the corporate FLS and EHS division of Phoenix Mills Ltd oversees the design adequacy of mixed occupancy : Shopping Mall, high rise commercial buildings and hotels since project conceptualisation to completion focusing on performance based design besides code compliances.
The most recently completed projects are iconic shopping malls namely Citadel Indore ,Palladium Ahmedabad, Mall of Asia Bangalore, Mall of Millenium Pune, and Commercial projects Millennium, and Phoenix Asia Towers.
He also spearheads the fire and life safety risk inspection, mitigation and emergency response strategy implementation for all Assets under operation across group.
Apurba is a CSP ( BCSP) , an IGBC AP and a Certified Fire Protection specialist from NFPA.
