Currently, the Technical Leader Building Safety, at Laing O’Rourke, one of largest construction and engineering companies in the UK, pioneering the use of DfMA, for safer and more efficient construction.
Responsible for the creation and shaping of the Building Safety Team / Function within Laing O’Rourke, focused on establishing a consistent and robust approach to: Building Regulations compliance (across all devolved nations), secondary legislation to the Building Safety Act (BSA), the BSA itself, the Higher-Risk Building (HRB) regime, Building Regulations Principal Dutyholders, and all associated legislation, to ensure Building Safety across all Laing O’Rourke and specialist trading business projects.
