Matthew Young is the Founder and Director of studio3eight, an international design practice based in Ho Chi Minh City with projects spanning Vietnam, Australia and the Middle East. With over two decades of architectural experience, he has led design on complex and high-profile developments ranging from hospitality and mixed-use towers to industrial campuses and cultural destinations.
In Vietnam, Matthew has worked with leading developers to deliver projects that combine sensitivity to local context with global benchmarks of quality and sustainability. His international collaborations include major cultural and commercial works, resulting in striking built forms that impact streetscape, skyline and user experience alike.
Guided by a humanist and empathetic design philosophy, Matthew’s approach balances creativity with technical rigour. He is committed to advancing sustainable innovation in the built environment, with facades as a crucial element, shaping performance, identity and long-term resilience.
