Sean Robbinson, Head of Building Safety, Sean has extensive experience across the public and private sectors, specialising in building surveying, fire safety, and building safety within social housing, local government, and student accommodation.
He is a leading practitioner in the preparation and delivery of Building Safety Cases, with significant experience in developing safety case reports, risk assessments, resident engagement strategies, and mandatory occurrence reporting in line with regulatory best practice and Building Safety Regulator expectations.
Sean has played a central role in establishing and developing Anstey Horne’s Building Regulations Principal Designer (BR-PD) service line, helping clients embed compliance, competence, and governance into complex higher-risk building projects from the earliest design stages.
He has represented a major social housing provider as its in-house Building Safety Manager and was a member of the DLUHC and Building Safety Regulator Early Adopters Programme. He successfully delivered a trial safety case report with the Regulator, which has since been adopted as a benchmark for internal assessment and training.
Sean also has extensive experience in registering high-rise buildings and securing regulatory approval for fire safety and structural improvement works.
