Head of Project & Development Services and Sustainability, JLL
Maria da Cunha e Menezes is Head of P&DS (Project & Development Services) and Business Development P&DS Tetris at JLL. P&DS operates in the areas of Building Consultancy, Project Management, and Sustainability.
She is responsible for creating value for clients by helping them implement their real estate strategies and objectives. In 2025, in addition to her role as Head of P&DS, she also began leading business development for P&DS and Tetris, as well as coordinating the sustainability team for the Southern Cluster (Portugal, Italy, and Spain). Her focus is on developing tailored solutions for clients, considering the different services that P&DS and Tetris can offer. Her commitment to results extends throughout the entire lifecycle of client projects, from due diligence to design and construction phases.
She joined JLL in April 2020, bringing extensive experience from her previous roles. As founding partner and manager of an architecture firm in Mozambique from 2003 to 2019, she demonstrated her ability to overcome challenges and attract high-profile clients.
With a degree in Architecture from Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa and an MBA from the University of Michigan, she brings a unique combination of architectural knowledge and management expertise to her role at JLL. She has dedicated her career to planning, designing, and constructing the built environment. Her motivation remains the same: to deliver more than just a project by understanding the inspiration behind clients’ projects and providing outcomes that transform the spaces where people live, work, and play.
