A dynamic and passionate Architect, with over 10 years of multidisciplinary experience throughout the industry which has seen Ian take a number of schemes through planning and site delivery.
Ian studied at Liverpool University, and after completing his Part 3 worked for a small dynamic studio working on a variety of projects across the North of England and Wales.
At CJCT Ian has headed up a number of large scale residential projects in Leeds over the last four years including c. 2,500 homes at Leeds II Leeds I, Water Lane, The Junction and Kirkstall Road. Ian leads the residential /commercial teams within our Leeds Studio as well as working across a number of other sectors. Ian also acts as the client monitor on a variety of projects most notably the Leeds I & II projects for Hub Residential/Realstar.
Prior to his move to CJCT Ian had been employed for the previous 11 years in London and has contributed to a number of significant projects throughout the UK and Europe, across a variety of sectors including commercial, residential, conservation and education.
Ian ran the final phase on the University of Amsterdam’s Roeterseiland Campus, a long running project to reinvigorate a series of 1960’s buildings and stitching the university back into the city. The project won an RIBA International Award for Excellence in 2018.
