
Senior Architect and Associate, UN Studio
Roman Kristesiashvili is a Senior Architect and Associate at UNS’s headquarters in Amsterdam, bringing over 20 years of international experience in architecture, urban development, and project leadership. Since joining UNS in 2010, he has directed complex, high profile projects across Europe, the UAE, the US, and Asia, with a strong focus on mixed use high rise and large scale urban developments. His work includes the pedestrian bridge in Baku White City and the Austin Light Rail implementation project, both demonstrating leadership in shaping high quality, future oriented urban environments. Roman’s expertise spans the full project lifecycle, from concept and strategy through to technical delivery and execution, combining design excellence with sustainability, research, technology, and planning. He has also led the development of ceramic façade elements from early research to manufacturing. Key projects include Kutaisi Airport Terminal, the Air Traffic Control Tower, Lisi Green Tower, and the new TBC Bank headquarters -a fintech campus in Tbilisi, now nearing completion.
