Ar. Anil Badan, Founder and Principal of Studio B Architects, has built one of India’s leading hospitality design practices through creativity, perseverance, and a deep understanding of contextual architecture. From humble beginnings in Jammu to designing award-winning luxury hospitality projects across India and the Middle East, his journey reflects passion, resilience, and entrepreneurial vision.
Born and raised in Jammu, Anil pursued his Bachelor of Architecture in Kerala, overcoming language barriers through determination and hard work. After gaining valuable experience with leading architectural firms in Chandigarh and Delhi, he founded Studio B despite limited financial resources.
His breakthrough came with the successful design of Kolkata’s first nightclub, Cloud Nine, followed by landmark hospitality projects including Ramada Plaza, Varanasi. Since then, Studio B has delivered a diverse portfolio of celebrated projects, including The Khyber Himalayan Resort & Spa, Gulmarg, Taj Convention Centre, Agra, Fort Rajwada, Jaisalmer, Grand Mercure, Agra, and Radisson Blu, Karjat.
