Kavitha Selvaraj is a Principal architect and Director at C R Narayana Rao. She has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from residences, campuses to large scale Master planning projects. She divides her time between design practice, teaching and working with the City government on improving public spaces.
Kavitha has 2 Masters degrees, one from Harvard University and the other from The University of Texas at Austin. Her undergraduate degree is from the School of Architecture and Planning in Chennai. She teaches at various schools of architecture in the city as Visiting Faculty and Thesis Advisor. Kavitha also leads a social enterprise called CityWorks, which looks at design in public spaces with focus on research, design and capacity building to create liveable cities.
