Associate Vice President, Infosys
Mr. KP Nagraj is an Architecture graduate from the College of Architecture, Goa, currently working as an Associate Vice President with Infosys Ltd. He is one of the extraordinary minds behind the super-efficient sustainable buildings at Infosys. During the beginning of his career he worked with Environmental, planning and design (EPD) Consultants, and was instrumental in designing hotels, residential buildings and complexes. He has also designed buildings for Indian Navy and has been acknowledged for his challenging designs at National institute of oceanography in Goa. One of his most challenging and extremely well-executed designs include the Kanteerava indoor stadium in Bangalore which envisaged his most favored designs for large span shell structures .
Another spectacular design (under execution) which he has embarked on is a Clock tower in Infosys Mysore which will be the tallest free standing digital clock tower in the world at 135 mts height with digital screens of 10X10 mts in 4 directions, each weighing 10 tons.
Till date, he has designed over 40 million sq.ft. Of area for Infosys. He has worked with renowned global architects, including Nikken Sekkei Japan and RSP Singapore. Infosys received the Greenest Building of India Award for its Hyderabad campus from Hon President of India in 2012.
His vision of sustainable and green buildings has revolutionized the architectural designs of Infosys buildings and set milestones in constructing green corporate buildings.
