
Knut Stockhusen graduated from University of Stuttgart and joined schlaich bergermann partner in 2000. Major projects that he has led include fan type glass structure Opera Chongqing in China; National Tropical Botanical Library in Hawaii; Airport Stuttgart Terminal 3 in Germany; Dalian Twin Towers and Dalian Commodity Plaza Byside Buildings in China; Panoramic Tower Killesberg in Stuttgart; Membrane structures for sports venues in Spain, Brazil, South Africa, Poland, Germany, Great Britain and India; for stations in Brazil, glass roof for Petrobras – UOBS in São Paulo; Façade Airport Málaga in Spain, Footbridge Sassnitz in Germany; major highway bridges such as the Danube Bridge Linz in Austria; the Yamuna Bridge at New Delhi and the Second Vivekananda Bridge in Kolkata, India. He is also a part of professional societies including Ingenieurkammer Baden-Württemberg, IASS – International Association for Shells and Spatial Structures and BDB Bund Deutscher Baumeister, Architekten und Ingenieure.
