Sanhita graduated with distinction from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, prior to receiving her M.Arch in Architecture and Urbanism in the DRL Programme (Design Research Lab) at the prestigious Architectural Association, in London.
She has worked as an architectural and landscape consultant in various firms in the UK and in India. Sanhita has been actively involved in landscape design research for conferences, books and films. Her Master’s thesis research on Knitectonics (with Esteban Colmenares and Thiago Mundim) presented at the ACADIA 2011 Conference and the Prototyping Conference 2013 received a lot of attention and has generated wide-spread interest in the idea of ‘Knitting to create Architecture’. Currently she is associated with UHA Worldwide and has projects that span the globe.
