Projects Director, Ian Ritchie Architects
Gordon Talbot has worked with Ian Ritchie since the early 1980s participating in the design of many of the practices’ most recognised works. He has a particular interest in materials development, construction technology processes and methodologies, construction economics and technology transfer within and outside the industry. He has recently completed 5 years in the role of Projects Director leading the iRAL and consultant team for the design and fit-out of the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour at University College London.
He is currently the Partners Advisor to the London Doctoral Design Centre (LDoc) an umbrella organisation for doctoral research at the Royal College of Arts (RCA), Kingston University and the University of the Arts London (Central St Martin’s, Camberwell, Chelsea) and External Examiner for the BA Architecture course at the University of Westminster. He presented at the Facade Tectonics 2018 World Congress in Los Angeles at the University of Southern California.
