Architect Director, BDP
After qualifying in architecture followed by postgraduate work at the Art Academy in Munich, Mark was engaged by Foster & Partners in London before joining BDP. Currently he is working in collaboration with Herzog & de Meron on the major new Global R&D Centre for a global pharmaceutical company and on the new GOOGLE HQ London alongside concept architects Heatherwick Studio and Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG).
His experience covers a range of sectors including offices, laboratories R&D, museums, data centres, health care, residential (passive house and high end) and student developments. He has an excellent understanding of façade design and sustainable/energy conscious design.
Communication, design and technical skills allow him to design and deliver innovative, effective and creative design solutions within specified deadlines and budgets.
He has successfully completed numerous projects from inception to completion and has won several major awards like BCO awards and RIBA award. He specialises in façade design and developing new innovative sustainable designs from concept to completion of projects.
