Ar. Ana S. Mangalino Ling is into practice for the past 38 years and a partner of Jose Siao Ling and Associates for 35 years and now has transitioned into JSLA Architects an ISO certified Architectural Design Firm.
WE, in JSLA Architects have more than 50 design capabilities, have studied greater than 1800 projects and have realized more than 700 projects built today like residences, schools, housing and city developments, commercial, mall, civic and religious, etc…and what we feel more important in JSLA Architects is that we have been part of more than 600 emerging and established professionals in the field of architecture, academe, project management and construction.
At age 50, she continue educational and professional pursuits outside architectural design and my organization as an Architect and started post graduate studies simultaneously in Real Estate Management in De La Salle College of St. Benilde School of Professional and Continuing Education and Property Management at the De la Salle Professional Schools. At the same season, she took the licensure examination for Environmental Planning to prove that there is no limit to learnings and to set an example to the next generation of professionals. She would like to leave a legacy of continuing education that has been the core of her plans and programs for her term as President of the United Architects of the Philippines in 2009 -2010. During that time the biggest program of 350 attendees of Fire Marshalls and Architects in Teatro Arkitekto at the UAP Headquarters for the UAP-BFP was held joint seminar on the Fire Code and Life and Safety Practitioners, among other programs on Continuing Education and with partnerships with the Commission on Higher Education, the UAP was established as a Center for Continuing Professional Education for Architects and Allied Professionals. UAP that time was able to forge strong partnerships with LGUs, other government agencies, construction industry partners and NGOs.
