Darren has over 15 years’ experience with various cladding systems and products, and testing their performance. Having worked for leading importers of various internationally renowned products, he has an in depth knowledge of manufacturing products and seeing their incorporation into building systems and how they are tested and achieve NZBC compliance. His experience provides a unique perspective on testing methodologies and testing products beyond prescriptive guidelines. The greatest insight from this has been how intrinsically linked a Quality Assurance program is to the tested system, and how ensuring that the installed system is exactly the same as that which was tested is the pinnacle of Risk Management.
