As the design manager of Qingpu New City, Bing Shen was involved in the compilation of general rules and details of Qingpu New City and was responsible for the design and construction of Qingpu Library, Qingpu Youth activity Center, Qingpu Middle School and Qingpu Planning display Center etc. These projects once formed the “Qingpu phenomenon” and became an example of visiting and studying the new city in architectural colleges and universities all over the world. Qingpu New City won the Dubai Human Settlements example Award and the Architecture Record Best owner Award. In 2011, Bing Shen joined Huaxin group and started the city with the transformation and upgrading of industrial plots. He presided over the design and construction of Huaxin Center, Huaxin Tiandi, Huaxin Financial Building and other projects. The Caohejing industrial plot urban renewal was selected for the 2015 Shanghai Space Art season practices Exhibition. The Huaxin Exhibition Center project, won the Far East Architecture Award, A+Awards’s Best low-rise Office Architecture Award and the WA China Architecture Award。He presided over the adjustment of the Caohejing No. 4 site renewal plan, the international urban design competition and the compilation of development guidelines and provides a complete solution for the urban renewal of industrial plots in Shanghai.
