
General Director & Country Director Vietnam, Mace
John Campbell has worked in the construction Industry for over 25 years in which he has have been involved in numerous Projects of varying size, type and complexity, from inception to handover and aftercare.
Majority of his years in the industry have been spent with Mace Group now over 17 years. He joined Mace in 2003 as an Assistant Project Manager and since then have developed his career through various projects to the position he currently hold as General Director. Whilst in Vietnam he has been the Project Director for projects such as Nokia and the Deutsches Haus Building which is the first LEED Platinum building in Vietnam. He is now fully responsible for all operations in Vietnam for Mace.
He is highly motivated, dynamic and committed individual, who’s tough but fair management style commands both respect and loyalty from the contractors he has worked with. His knowledge of the construction process has helped him to contribute immensely to the pre-construction process and improve ‘buildability’ of Projects during his time with the Mace Group.
His skills include team Leadership, MEP Management, Commercial Management, setting out and implementation of procurement procedures, client and contractor relationships, establishing and implementing communication strategies and a very well rounded knowledge of all aspects of the construction process.
