During her 21-year career with Rafael Viñoly Architects, Andrea Lamberti has led both master plan and building projects for universities and research institutes as well as projects for cultural, corporate, commercial, and civic clients. Ms. Lamberti’s recent project experience includes the LEED-Platinum Van Andel Institute for Medical Education and Research in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA and the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina, USA which also achieved LEED-Platinum certification.
Ms. Lamberti has been involved with many of the firm’s master plans and institutional projects, including a new 4,000-student campus for New York University Abu Dhabi, as well as projects for The Rockefeller University and the University of Arizona; she is currently leading the master planning of a confidential research campus. She has also contributed to mixed-use and commercial designs for large-scale developments in the UK, Netherlands and China as well as multiple locations throughout the United States.
Ms. Lamberti is a licensed architect and has participated in all aspects of the practice. In addition to project responsibilities, she oversees strategic planning, business development and marketing for the firm. To inform the firm’s strategic initiatives, Ms. Lamberti manages proposals and conceptual designs, establishes and maintains key collaborator relationships and partnerships, and directs communications and public relations strategies. For these efforts, she travels regularly to Asia, the Middle East and Europe, and throughout the United States; she also managed the firm’s participation in the procurement and launch of several projects including 432 Park Avenue, 277 Fifth Avenue, 125 Greenwich Street, and the new Stanford Hospital.
