Raghavendra is the Chairman of CII – LEED India, a committee to Indianize the Green Building rating for Energy Efficient Buildings in India. He is a pioneer architect and a recipient of the Indian Institute of Architects award for ‘Excellence in Design’ for Public Building category for the project of Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at Chennai – 1995.
He is also a recipient of “Architect of the Year -1996” award from the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on all India basis. This work has been published in the A+D magazine. He also received the ‘Intelligent Building of the Year 2005’ award given by the US based Research Organisation called ‘Intelligent Community Forum’ (ICF) for the project ‘Ebene Cyber Tower at Mauritius’, which was designed by him.
